What Is It and Why This Approach?
We are each made up of processes and pathways in the brain which developed in response to the challenges of life, some of which are inherited. Jung called these complexes. It’s perhaps more helpful to call these 'parts.' Each part took on its job for a good reason.
And then there is the true self, the steady sense of being that everything else happens within. The true self doesn’t come and go and isn’t a part. It can feel mysterious and elusive to the mind, because it’s bigger than conceptual thinking.

A Guided Journey into your Inner Landscape
Over 12 weeks, you will learn to rest in your true self, meet your parts with curiosity and unconditional love, and help them ease out of roles they no longer need to carry. The result is a life lived more from wholeness and less from old patterns.
The method draws on Boe’s fifteen years of parts work and her training in group analysis. It sits within the wider family of parts-based approaches of which Internal Family Systems (IFS) is one, and it is also informed by contemplative traditions, emotional work, and nervous system practice.

It's for people who:
Want to know who they really are, in their truest self
Keep meeting the same patterns, however much insight they have
Feel pulled between different parts of themselves
Want a deeper, kinder relationship with their inner world
Value being accompanied, both 1-1 and alongside others on the same path
The Map
The journey moves through six stages. This is a non-linear movement, transforming through a spiral: you return to each stage again and again, and each time you encounter yourself at a deeper turn of the spiral.
1. Coming home to your true self
We strengthen your connection to the part of you that is never damaged and never absent. IFS calls this Self energy, Non-dualists call it no-self: the felt sense of existence, the space in which everything happens, unconditional and always available. You learn how to find it, rest in it and identify as it.
2. Emotion work and nervous system practice
Throughout, we work with the body: how to feel emotions fully, settling the nervous system and building capacity to stay present with what arises.
3. Meeting your parts
From that steady ground, we notice the parts as they arise: their voices, their sensations in the body, the jobs they do, the impact they have. We become familiar with what happens to us when a part is ‘activated.’
4. Building relationship
We learn to listen to each part from the true self, with curiosity in place of judgement. Parts are met with unconditional love.
5. Changing the job
Once a part trusts that it is safe, it can often let go of an old role and choose a new one. This can be felt as a period of adjustment, sometimes unsettling, as the inner system finds new balance.
6. Living as your true self
Gradually, more of daily life is lived from the true self: choices feel clearer, relationships feel more honest and the parts become trusted companions in a flow of life.

Two routes
The journey is held in two ways: weekly 1-1 sessions for depth, and a monthly group for connection. People can join for both or either. In the groupwork you deepen your own work by witnessing others, as well as being witnessed. Holding this work in a group draws on Boe's training in group analysis, which sees the group itself as a powerful place for change, and an accelerator of the process.

Guiding Principles
The true self leads. Change comes from the steady presence beneath the parts, so we put our attention there and return to it often.
Unconditional love heals. Parts soften when they are met with acceptance, and they harden when they are judged or pushed.
The body is part of the work. Feelings are felt, the nervous system is tended, and insight is given time to land in the body.
Change is a spiral. Returning to a familiar stage is a sign of deepening, never of failure.
Every part is welcome. Each part is trying to help, even when its methods cause pain.
We heal in relationship. The 1-1 relationship and the group both offer the experience of being seen and accepted, which is part of the healing itself.
Each person sets their own pace. Parts are never forced to change, and clients always choose how deep to go.

Scope and care
The Wholebeing Method is a mentoring and groupwork approach. Boe is an IGA-accredited Groupwork Practitioner with a Diploma in Group Analysis and has over fifteen years of experience in parts work. Boe is not a therapist but a guide, and is committed to the principle that your true self is the one that heals. Her role is to help you find your way back to it.
Because parts work can bring up deep material, the journey is held with these safeguards:
A free intake conversation before joining, to check the journey is the right fit
Clear agreements about confidentiality, boundaries and what the work can and can't offer
Referral routes to other services for anyone who needs more specialist support
Regular supervision for Boe, so the container is reflected on and held in a bigger context
Group agreements so the group feels safe for everyone
The journey may not be the right fit for people currently in crisis or needing treatment for a mental health condition. In those cases, Boe will suggest other support.
