Artist in Residence
Boe was the Artist in Residence at Union Chapel for five years. Union Chapel is an iconic venue in North London, voted London's favourite venue in Time Out, with an audience of 1000 capacity. It's well loved by performers and audiences alike, for it's intimacy, acoustics and atmospheric vibes.
Boe created a number of sold out immersive shows using promenade theatre, dance, visual art and original music. She wrote, directed, produced and performed in A Female Power, Medusa, A Web in the Heart, and Witch.
She also secured funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund with which she commissioned The Turning of the Leaves, an art installation about masculinity and war, and A Day to Remember by poet Toby Thompson.

Music
A singer-songwriter from a young age, Boe has toured internationally, played live on BBC Radio 2, appeared on BBC4, and had songs feature on BBC6 Music, as well as being reviewed in The Guardian and the Independent.
Boe spent two years writing 'song-reviews' of videogames for The Escapist, an online magazine, under the moniker, Rebecca Mayes. She was featured in Nintendo Magazine, Playstation Magazine and wrote a soundtrack live at Gamecity Festival for a game being created live by Canabalt creator Adam Saltsman. She appeared on Charlie Brooker's Gameswipe.

Creative Writing
As well as writing A Farewell to Screen Addiction: The Handbook, Boe has published two short stories: in The Last Horizon, a cli-fi anthology, and Dancing with the Birdman, a short story collection. She has an MA in Creative Writing and is working on her debut novel, Thirteen Qyeens, a queer, feminist, sci-fi.
She took part in Thrutopia, a writing course with Manda Scott (author of Boudica) about writing novels that take us through our current crisis into a more positive future.
